ASSURE MODEL

ASSURE MODEL

The Assure Model is an instructional model for planning a lesson, which incorporates:
  • Analyze
  • State Objectives
  • Select method, media and materials
  • Utilize
  • Required learner participation
  • Evaluation or revisions
It is important for lessons to be planned using the Assure Model because this will show that the teacher has first test the students previous knowledge, sequentially selected the correct objectives to meet each learning style, creatively used an instructional method to teach her lesson and formulate the proper assessment and evaluation for her students. This type of preparation will most likely meet the needs of each student.

During my exploring of Windows Movie Maker, I discovered that firstly, I would have to save my pictures from the internet, then import them into my Movie Marker. Next, I tampered until I realized that I would have to drag and drop my pictures in order of how I would want them to be displayed in the movie. Then, I found a song on youtube.com and converted it into an MP3 file. Then I imported the music. I edited the movie as needed and then saved it to my desktop.

A Grade 6 student can use  movie marker in the classroom  to demonstrate his findings on natural disasters and its affect on our country.
